Have it and tried it out (with the tutorials), and ABSOLUTLY CANNOT recreate a perfect copy (DVD-5 or -9) to play on my stand-alone. So I suspect my media (TDK's). However, I tried a movie with 1 layer, same media and a different program (DVD Decrypter). To my suprise, everything was perfect. Not a glitch, skip or hang with perfect picture quality. Not completely satisified, I tried a 2 layer disc using Decrypter/IFO Edit/IMGtool to put it all on 2 discs. Still using the TDK's, it was all good, nothing wrong. Being as stubborn as I am, I tried DVDxCOPY again, 2 layer movie... result was crap. Apparently my media is fine, so I suspect XCopy. I even switched media to Verbatim DataLifePlus... XCopy pretty much gave me coasters, while other software gave me works of art (better than the TDK's). What's the deal with XCOPY??? I like the ease of use that XCOPY has, but it's end result is garbage. Am I missing a setting, a check-mark or something??
I don't understand how one program works awesome while the other is crap, when I use the same media. Any advice is greatly apprecaited.

I dont use it myself but I understand its quite decent with the most current patches installed. Far as your media goes Both TDK and Verbatim are great media at least they have been for me on "-" burners, but they are a bit expensive. Media wise you might want to check into Apple disk unless your getting a great deal on the TDKs already.
