    Hi Folks...

I'm having terrible problems trying to get my v7700 card to capture video. I'm running a dualboot btw ME and 2000 and cannot connect to any capture drivers in either system. I've tried several things to the point where my machine starts giving me the dreaded blue screens and I'm loosing courage. Here's what I tried:

    asus wdm driver
    nvidia wdm driver (1.08, 1.19, 1.22)
    "default" microsoft wdm driver
capturing in asus live: didn't work
capturing in asus DVCR: didn't work
    capturing in VirtualDub: didn't work

Usually, the apps just doesn't find the driver or once in a while I'm able to capture a few seconds with a big white bar across. There's absolutely no continuity in my problems: At reboot one problem goes away and another pops up in it's place.

I know that many ppl have had these problems but I haven't found a solution yet....please help

    kind regards,
    Mike)

I was never able to get this card capturing in XP, but had more luck in 'win98 se. I used the standard asus capture driver (a vfw driver I think) with AVI_IO capture program. It would drop 1 frame in 10,000 and never suffered audio sync problems using the Asus2 codec quality 8-9.

    Well, let me simplify:

I'm running the Asus GeForce 2 GTS (v7700) on WinME. Which WDM capture driver should I try and where do I get it?

    Thanks a lot,
    Mike
