Being a newbie to dvd back up, is COPYtoDVD a reliable program to use to burn to DVD? So far I've done one movie on Memorex 1x DVD-R and 20 mins into the movie I get studders and blocks and then stops.

Is there a program that I should be using that seems to work the best with everyone out there?

    Thanks

  2. There was a post here about someone having problems with Memorex media so I would suggest you try some other brand and see if you have the same results.

Even the top name brands can be defective. I bought 15 Verbatim 4x DVD+R and all of them had tiny bubbles near the edge of the disc that resulted in burn errors.

I don't know a thing about COPYtoDVD and I use RecordNow to burn my DVD's.
