    are Imation DVD-R (General v 2.0) any good. I took back a bunch of memorex after i couldnt get a single one to burn without skips

    I use Imation DVD-R disks almost exclusively right now. I had tried to used Memorex DVD-R and DVD+R and couldn't get decent results either.

    I have never had any problems with the Imation disks on my Sony DRU-500A.
