I've never had a problem with MMB, overburning or otherwise, until now.
I've made couple DivX rips which are over 700MB and wanted to burn them with MMB. Here's my output:

The bin/cue I'm trying to burn is only 740MB but cdrdao says I'm trying to burn 850MB. So, when it gets to a little over 800MB, it errors out. The disc mounts (although I set it to eject in MMB) and I can see its contents in the Finder. But, when I try to view it with VLC, the drive just churns and VLC freezes. Ejected the disc and tried it with my combo, same result. Any ideas?
BTW, my version of MMB is 0.4, don't know if that matters.

It looks like you're burning it as ISO9660 data. When you burn as data you only get about 700MB of space (850MB image sounds about right for 740MB data).

What do I need to do so that I can overburn a 740MB DivX to an 80 minute (700MB) CD? It has to be mode 2 in order to be overburned, right? I opened up the .cue generated from MMB in TextEdit and this is what it said:
FILE image.bin
BINARY
TRACK 0
MODE1/2048
INDEX 01 00:00:00 -
Well, you can overburn in mode1, but you're not going to be able to fit 740MB on a 700MB disc that way. I've heard of some technique for burning divx movies as mode2 (which means your file would fit without overburn), but I don't know anything about it because I don't bother with divx.
