  1. Hi!I am stuck in the middle of my multimedia project. Here is the problem:
there is a captured DIVX file. The person who did it obviously made a kmistake by giving resolution of 710x480. The source is not available any more so re-capturing is not an option.
I desperately need to convert it into VCD for next week presentation but every time I try to do it, I am getting garbage output. It looks like a negative with horizontal color lines. Also the image by itself seems to move behind the left edge of the screen so whatever should be on the left ends up on the right side, ie it is very messy. I hope I have given good enough explanation and would really appreciate any help.
    Thanks in advance!

  2. How are you trying to convert the DivX file? What settings are you using, what program/s, etc. etc.

Also the DivX file itself plays fine? What's the framerate of the DivX file?

  3. Actually I just found out the solution.
For some mysterious reason CyberLink Power VCR converter tool did it just fine.
I even forgot about this one but then suddenly decided to try.
    Very weird.

That's interesting because TMPGEnc and few other programs were giving me the output described above.
