After much research, i've come to the conclusion that I will probably be ordering another batch of "ACCU's" since I have had nothing but success with them so far. I spoke to someone from the Tech department for Meritline.com and cdrdvdrmedia.com and they both said that ACCU's are Excellent quality disks, (which I already knew from my experience) and that they have been making DVDR media for SONY for a while.
I guess that is why half of my batch say SONY within ADVDINFO. Anyway, from what I have read "ALL" ACCU disks people have purchased have a silver top, just like the ones I purchased. When I spoke to the people from cdrdvdrmedia, they told me they sold out of the silver top, and are ONLY using the WHITE TOP ACCU disks now. They also said that the majority of those disks are "SONY" and those disks are BETTER because they are printable, with a laser jet printer due to the top side being "white" and not "silver." Has ANYONE had ANY experience with the "WHITE TOP" ACCU media?
If so, PLEASE post your results. From the information I received today though, these seem to be a steal, and to think, there is STILL free ground shipping VIA UPS from CDRDVDRMEDIA.COM.
