I'm having trouble with dropped frames with my Firebird XE, i'm capturing from a vcr using Docucap or DVD Workshop.I've turned off the enable write caching on the disk. But I still have the problem. I don't know what else to do.

I have since fixed the problem. I have brought a time-base-corrector. So far this has stopped the dropped frames.
