    Dont know which forum for this, but is it legal, if i own a VHS tape, to download a copy of it and make a DVD out of it? Just wondering anyways give me a holla

    well, while i am not into giving a "holla" ill still put in my two cents. Download it and burn it all you want as long as you have the original film. If anyone asks you are making an archival backup incase your original goes bad. There is nothing illegal about doing that and it is totally legitamate.

    I also think that this is fair use of your bounght copyrighted material, as long as you keep the original VHS.
