    I am trying to extract the MPEG2 from a DVDR so that I can edit the MPEG2 file. Does anyone have a recommendation on a program to do this? I have DVD2SVCD but it is not working for me. I am not interested on burning the MPEG2 to another DVD, nor SVCD. I just would like to obtain the raw MPEG2 file.

    I think you should do like this:
    Extract the video and sound from the VOB with Vobrator,Vobedit for example.
    Then combine the sound and video stream with the MUX function in TMPengc.
