  1. Hello all,

I have the problem that i own a lot of divx3 files which won't play
on my new realmagic Xcard. Now i have to convert them into Divx4 or 5.
What would you recomment ? 4 or 5 ? Which of them is better ? Which tools
to i have to use for this conversion ?

    Thanks,

    Grady

  2. Ok, that was a quick shot. I found it myself.
    VirtualDub is doing the job.

I would need now some tips how to convert to divx5 without quality loss.
I allready played around with the codex option but i still find my results worse
that the orriginal file. The biggest problem is that my resulting files freeze from time to time
and on different positions. Sound continues to play but pictures stand stil ?!?!?

Use the same bitrate as the video source for both the audio and video. You can use avicodec or gspot to check the video properties, www.dvdrhelp.com/play#identify
