  1. In my struggle to correctly burn a dvd, it was suggested to me that I might want to try to watch my files on the IfoEdit player just to make sure that it was working. Well, I tried to play the VIDEO_TS.IFO file and I get an error message telling me that no valid video DVD volume could be found. I ripped with DVD Decrypter, and then followed the IfoEdit guide on doom9's website. Anyone have any suggestions?

  2. also interesting to note is that if I ask it to try to play it anyway, it works. However, I haven't been able to burn a successful DVD yet.

  3. I would suspect that this is a bug in IFOEDIT. I often get this message when testing with IFOEDIT. It will even report it once for a given set of files, then not report the error 5 minutes later when trying to play the same files again.

After getting this error I can still burn and play the disks fine on my Sony NS305

  4. I get that error all the time....but it still plays as you said. If you have the DVD in the drive it does not give the error, not sure why, maybe as Azza said it is a bug.

I had a problem once with IfoEdit, something with DirectShow I believe.
I installed some kind of codec or smth from Ogg Vorbis and it worked.

Sorry, I can't remember the file name exactly, but I have it at home.
