I was burning in Toast and it notified me of an error just before it was finished closing the disc. What does this mean?
The drive reported an error:
Sense Key = MEDIUM ERROR
Sense Code = 0x73, 0x04
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That means your disks are bad and it can't burn to them. I had an entire pack in which I got this error on all of them but 3. Basically, never buy those types of disks again.

He may be right about that ,the disks maybe bad but having had the same code come up in Toast 5.2, it never appears if I burn in OS9 instead. I think its more an OSX issue with Toast ...

Actually I had the problem with both OS 9 and OS X with those disks. I changed the media and it worked properly.
