Hi all
Major problem with TMPGENC. When I try and open an MPEG2 file in it to convert to something else or to just re-encode it simply crashes. It does it both in the wizard and through the normal way. As soon as the mpeg2 file is selected and opened it crashes. I'm using WinXP with SP1.
This is a new problem though as I used to convert mpeg2 files to mpeg1 all the time. I really need to be able to do this.
I think it may have something to do with MPEG2 codecs? I recently changed from the usual MPEG2 codec to the Elecard one. Would this have anything to do with it. I don't think I've tried using tmpgenc since installing this codec. I did try unregistering this codec though and the problem still occurs.
Can anyone help me please!
