  1. Any idea?

Tested Ulead Workshop an Movie Factory but both Tools did not support AC3 in the .mp2 file

I get the files from a dbox2 with NGrap...

    Thanks

  2. Huh? Ac3 and mp2 are two different audio formats. Do you have an mp2 file or an ac3 file? It sounds like you have a mp2 file that was encoded from an ac3 file. Once you re-encode its not an ac3 file any more (no more than a mp3 encoded from a wav).

Some authoring programs only accpet 48khz PCM or ac3 data. I don't use Ulead but that could be the case. I would suggest either using the original ac3 file (which should be smaller anyway) or re-encoding your mp2 file to ac3 with BeSweet.

Just FYI, the Ulead DVD Workshop demo does not support AC3 in any form. The full product will accept (and not re-encode) .mpg files with AC3 "muxed" with MPEG-2 video. TMpgEnc [Plus] will perform the multiplex operation if you can provide the .m2v and .ac3 files.
