  1. Hi just started out on this game, this site is real cool, and looks like a lot of you guys no heaps about the subject.

    The problem I have is i uses snartripper, DVD2AVI and then Tmpgenc (all latest versions) to write output using sevys SeVCD template, the audio side on the Video CD is low in output, it is not distorted though.

    Any ideas what im doing wrong?

    There are (as usual) many way.
    You can normalise the audio in dvd2avi.
    You can downsample in dvd2avi(utrahigh) before encoding.
    You can change the volume in TMPG (setting>advanced>audio effect)
    4th and best(!) is to use tooLAME for audio encoding.

    Thanx for a speedy response, what does normalization actually mean? (excuse my ignorance if this is a dum question0

    You know, my english is quite poor, so let me echo Doom9:
    Normalizing consists of finding the volume peak of a soundtrack, then increase the rest of the soundtrack to the same level.
