    I've been playing with VS7 for a week and like it so far. I would like to hear pros and cons from others who have used it.
    I really like Pinnacle Studio 8 but even with all the updates, it's too buggy.

    Doesn't VS7 need Direct x 9 to work. I hear nothing but bad reports about Dx9.

    I'll check but I don't believe I have DX9 installed on my system.
    I've not run into any bugs and have been surprised so far. It's not the 'only' program I would use but it would be my #2 choice if nothing changes.
