  1. Got a film 693m in xvid if i run it through tmpg its says to big to fit on 1 cd if i try to split it, it will not let me, says cant find the file although ive loaded it in is there a way to burn to one disc? this xvid format is new to me. Any help, if so thanks in advance

    So, what are you trying to do? DVD? SVCD? VCD?
    As long as TMPGEnc can open the input file, It doesn't matter if it's DivX or XviD or any other format.
    If VCD, 693 min is awfully long - 63 min will fit on a VCD with room to spare. 93 min wont fit at VCD standard bitrate, so you must use a lower bitrate to about 940 kbps, or, using 128 kbps audio, to 1038 kbps.
