With DVDXCOPY you can choose for it to use an external burn soft like Nero.
All backups created with DVDXCopy work just fine.
However, just before DVDXCopy starts to burn I copied all files to another location so I could remove the Archive.TXT-file.
I burnt those files with Nero, but my backup didn't work.
I know about the UDF/ISO 1.02 and DVD Video templates, but no such luck.
Not even with RecordNow Max would my backup work.
The disc gets recognized, but says "No Play".
Why doesn't that work?
What does DVDXCopy do with Nero to make a backup work???

Ofcourse all backups work on a DVD ROM, but I'm talking about working on a standalone DVD players. Which is a big difference and I'm not sure many people keep that it mind when they say that ALL their backups work.
