i had a ground loop problem with my cable and tv tuner a while back, so i was surfing the boards looking for an answer to this. the easiest way seemed to be using two 75ohm to 300ohm adapters back to back to eliminate the loop. so i went out and got them (not much, like $6 total) and plugged them in. it went great, and no more ground loop.
however, it blocks out all the lower channels (like 2-25 or so). i would like to capture shows on some of those channels, but have been unable to do so so far. are there any other solutions that would solve the ground loop issue and restore my lower channels?
