    I recently downloaded a movie(AVI)....I am trying to play it thru Windows Media Player 9 and cannot get any sound. It seems to want to download a codec but fails to when you press PLAY. I am on XP. Can anyone help. I have recently downloaded DivX-Ac3-Codec but no success so far.

    I Suggest you get these codecs and install by the same order I list them:
    1. Kristal Studio Codec Pack v4.33
    2. DivX v5.0.3 Video Bundle
    3. XviD Video Codec v0.9.1
