Why is it that when I open an AVI with VirtualDUB, it says it's encoded with DivX LOW-motion, when I encoded it using the Fast-Motion codec? (it says so when you go to File/File Information...)
...that's all.

Are you sure you encoded it in Fast Motion? B/C VirtualDub is usually very accurate on what codec you used.

Absolutely.
In fact, I just did a conversion last night in Fast-Motion, and VirtualDUB says it's Low-Motion.
Come to think of it... I don't think I've ever seen it say Fast-Motion before...

Hmm...that is weird! Well, it's not really a problem just a bug in VirtualDub, I guess. Good luck on your conversions Jen!
