I am having trouble with superimposing a clock onto my video in Premiere 6.5. I had no problems doing this with Premiere 6.0 but I decided to get the Pinnacle DV500 DVD for mpeg2 support and it came with Premiere 6.5. I am trying to create a mpeg2 video from two avi files, one which is the clock that will be superimposed. For some reason, I cannot even preview the clock once it is on the timeline and I can only preview it in the source window. I've tried setting the clock avi to maintain aspect ratio, alpha channel, and I have setup the proper motion settings so that it is at the bottom of the video. After the mpeg2 encoding, I see my video but the clock is only a black box at the bottom with no numbers appearing. Any help on this?
