  1. I finally got UDMF2 to work with my CVD Mpeg files and VCD Mpeg files. I reconverted the audio and everything. However UDMF doesn't take my files sometimes and sometimes it does. I don't know whats wrong. Also some parts of the Mpeg files when played don't have sound. I'm really tired of all the issues this program has. I was wondering of any other program takes CVD files without reconverting them to DVD files. I don't even care about VCD anymore.

IF the GOP stracture follows the "DVD rule" (15 PAL / 18 NTSC), then any mpeg 1/2 with VCD and CVD framesize can be loaded to any authoring program (except specific crap ones we all know which).
You need to do 2 things first:
    1 - Upsampling the audio from 44100 to 48000khz
2 - Multiplexx as MPEG 2 (VBR), not as MPEG 2 SVCD.

Some programs, are not capable to load direct mpeg 2 files of any kind. So, you need to Demultiplex your mpeg 1/2 to m1v and mp2 (for VCD) or m2v and mp2 (for CVD). That way, the Video (m1v or m2v) part, can be loaded easy to any authoring program (if the program supports other than 720 X 576/480 resolution). The audio, is more coplicated. Sometimes, the authoring programs expect the mp2 extention of the audio files. Sometimes don't. So, you change the extention from mp2 to mpa and that's it. It works.
I have test various authoring tools and those tips helped a lot. Try and see.
