  1. I have made backups of DVD-5 disks perfectly with DVDdecrypter.

I am not trying to learn how to do a DVD-9 disk i dont mind stripping of extras and stuff. SO i am going to use DVDdecrypter and dvd2one. However i have a question.

All the guides say rip just the main movie VOB files. HOw do you tell which files i need are they standard accross all disks or do you just take the biggest and iff so how many

    please help

    thanks

  2. DVDdecrypter will automatically select the main movie files you'll need so you don't have to worry about that

The main movie is usually the biggest files, although DVD Decrypter selects the main movie for you automatically so all you have to do is select Decript.

    Hope that helps.

If you use a program called make-it-easy and ifoedit you can keep the menus while using DVD2ONE.

I have done stargate using make-it-easy to keep the menu because it only takes up 40MB and won't affect the quality much.

You can get make-it-easy and ifoedit here:

    Hope this helps.
