I've actually been converting a bunch of old Beta tapes of porno that someone gave me... basically the ones that haven't been released on dvd.

this is all late 70's / early 80's so most of it was shot on film and actually had a (semblance of a) plot.

And I've actually learned a couple of things....

- contrary to what I previously thought, captures from NeoDVD do not always like being imported into DVD Lab... I thought I could cap with Neo and author with DVD Lab, but the video freezes if you try to FF faster than 2x, or skip chapters, or use the chapter selection.

- if TMPGenc loads the file and doesn't check for field order, I'm going to have problems with that file. I got a good capture of "The Young Like It Hot", but something was hosed... sync was totally out of whack. And I should have known, when every other capture from an analog source does the "judging field order" scan while loading, and this one came up as non-interlaced.

- man, it must have been real good to be a plumber, electrician, telephone repairman or grocery delivery boy back in the 70's.... the pay's not much, but the benefits are great....
