    Has anybody used this software for video conversion and DVD authoring? What is the speed of the encoding and how easy is it to use?

    It is very easy to use, but is very limited in what you can do. Basically all template menus. It tends to re-encode everything, and at least the last version had a bug with its audio so the audio did not play (do a forum search for more details). Even when the audio works it is uncompressed LPCM format which takes up a lot of room.
