  1. I downloaded movies with ares and all the ones with an avi extension don't play and vdub doesn't recognize them. I did found that the files didn't start with a riff header but http and more of those things that aren't right but these are only in the first 7 lines how can i fix this?

    Those avi's could be divX. Did you install the propper divX-codec at your system?

  3. i got all the codecs it's just that the avi file starts with http instead of riff
