, I've made some downmixins recently.
There's a curious thing in the sound.
I've been hearing the audio of a concert captured by my self from DirecTV Source ( in the max quality ).
When i try to hear the backgrounds applying the famous karaoke technique to the sound, the audio go directly to silence. And i don't hear anything. ( Of course i guess is because this is not professionaly recorded by some reason or it has to much treatment and recompressions )
I bought this concert on DVD , i ripped the sound, and do the downmixing process. Then convert to a normal mp3 in 128kbits.
The sound support the Karaoke thing, and i can hear the backgrounds.
------------------
I have to say that... the both sound files has the SAME AUDIO QUALITY, and it doesn't have anything to envy one from another.
What's hidden in the Sound ?![]()
(sorry by the Bad english)

i've been mixing some vocals with music, but i can't get this to work.
I know there is a special way to mix the sound and make it compatible with karaoke, but i can't figure out.
