Hi,

I have a Sony S500D and an AKAI 200BL. I have ripped and burned a commercial DVD and it plays well on both players.

I build a iDVD slide show movie via iCamera. This movie plays and sounds good on the Sony.

On the AKAI ($60.00 at Blockbuster) The menu screen sounds fine but the sound in the body of the movie periodically wavers up and down and generally does not sound great. ( the background is a mp3 from the iTunes library).

Any reason that the AKAI would play the Menu ok, but sorta choke on the body of the movie?
