I converted a .d2v file to a .avi using the VFAPI Codec and now when I try to load it in Virtual Dub, I get the following error
Virtual Dub Error
Couldn't locate decompressorfor format ' vifp' (unkown)
VirtualDub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. Directshow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable
Any ideas?
Thanks

Anyone?
I know one of you had to see this problem at some point in time or maybe have a guess on how to fix it?
The machine in question is WinME with DX8 installed
