Does the trial version of Instant copy not remove the extra/special features on the dvd to save space and video quality for the main movie. Or am I missing something. The only option I saw was to remove dvd-rom content. I thought IC was also suppose to remove the extra featues.

InstantCopy does not support the removal of extras. There is a registry hack that you can use. Do a search and you will find it posted somewhere here.... There is a problem if you choose to remove extras and titlsets that the DVD could be unplayable....cause of navigational problems.

OK thankx. Could you recomend a good program for me. All I want is the main movie and the chapters and good video quality.

If you want just the main movie DVD2one is for you.
You can select which audio to keep what subs to keep it also keeps all the chapters. It only does the main movie so you don't have to worry about extras.
It does all this in about 20 minutes.

It's a hit and miss depends on the movie. All its is is a waste of time... if the movie doesn't work. Check out Doom9 forums. You do it your way... when 1 day you get crap remember you did it to yourself. -
wrong again, if you happen to take out wrong title set, like
the company logo deal, you're disc wont auto play, i messed
up and took dreamworks logo off "the tuxedo", which ic made
a pretty crappy backup of, and it wont auto play now... -

Once you download it.Click on it and it'll ask if you want to move it to the registrey.Click yes and your done. Now you should be able to de-select and remove any extras in the little checked boxes that you want.
And don't listen to Nyplayer he dos'ent know what he's talking about.I've removed several extras from DVDs with instantcopy in the past, but kept the rest of the menus&stuff. The resulting DVDs played fine. -

I tried that reg trick with my trial version 7.0.0.91 and selected customized resize but I still am not see the menu pop up. I've let it run past the part that says its reading and anylizing video should it be popping up by now? Is there a way to see it the reg trick is installed. I did the reg trick while IC was NOT running..

I mounted the iso as a disk image. And I have pretty much everything as the default except for copy method= Customized resize, and removed all of the audio streams and subtitles except for English.. I am following the guide that was posted earlier on this post but that customized menu never pops up.. thankx for the help..

Star Warrior,
NYPlayer is right, IC7 DOES NOT currently fully support the removal of titles and menus (ask Pinnacle) and still be fully compliant on all players. Which is why it's DISABLED at the moment and your'e having to apply an unofficial Reg hack at your own risk and luck. -

- 3) Press okay to start up instantcopy. Then custom menu pops up.I do whatever editing that i want and then press ok for Instantcopy to do its thing.

Apparrently Pinnacle are working on this being in a future release, then it should work for everyone, with no hack! -
I was refering to the link that star warrior posted up towards the top of this post.
I finally got it to work. I had it set to customized resize. I switched back to automatic then back again to customized. then it worked.
