Hi there,
Here's my problem. I captured a videotape from my VCR to an AVI file using VirtualDub 1.4b at 352x288 and CD quality Audio. After that I used the Panasonic MPEG Encoder 2.0 to convert it to a MPEG file. When I test played the MPEG file on the XingMPEG Player , the picture was ok, but the sound quality was poor. Even though the audio was clear, there seems to be some background "cracking" sound throughout the video. The sound was there even when I captured it to the AVI format. What seems to be the problem?
Can anyone help?
