i ripped the movies from a dvd that i have using smart ripper. then i used dvd2avi to convert the vob files into a dv2 file and a wav file for sound. when i try to convert the dv2 file to svcd using TMPGENC, my computer will randomly restart at around half way of converting the file or it will just stop converting it period. can someone please tell me what is wrong. i am running windows xp on an athlon 1400 processor.

p.s. if there is another program that can convert dv2 to svcd can someone please let me know
