  2. Do you mean there's no audio in the final burned movie? As far as DVD2AVI, I never hear any audio while it's processing/demuxing files..

THX is not a separate audio file in itself--it's part of the Dolby Digital track (or DTS, etc..).. So you must demux the Dolby track in DVD2AVI, ie., from the Audio dropdown menu, select appropriate track # (usually track #1 for me--english/6ch-ac3) and demux Dolby Digital..

  3. no, in this movie, it looks as if the dvd2avi works, the audio by itself sounds great, but when i mix my TMPGenc file and the dvd2AVI ( the ac3 file) together with dvd meastro, the end product looks great, and even sounds great, but the only problem is that the audio is behind the video about 1/2 to 2 seconds. now i used forced film mode in dvd2avi and when i used the tmpgenc i made sure that it's FPS was 23.976 NTSC, the only thing that i can think of is that the movie is progressive and the forced film in dvd2avi didn't or couldn't change the FPS from 29.97 progressive/non-interlace. but then the 3:2 pulldown in tmpgenc wouldn't be checked right? and interlace would be selected in the advance section, and then the dvd2avi would have to be none instead of forced film right? anybody who can help OR if you just want to reply and say i'm an IDIOT and give me some good advise instead, please do so... thanks tdogger/

  4. Sorry, friend, I'm a relative newbie so.. but I just did a search and there are some options you could try.. like using AC3Fix on the audio file, then importing it into Maestro.. i did a search on "tmpgenc sync" .

Also, from your msg, sounds like you re-encoded video only in tmpgenc, which is a good thing from what I've read.. in case you ran the ac3 file in tmpgenc, don't..

I've ordered a new software from pinnical called Instant copy i've tried the trail version first. i think this is legit!! it works, shrinks 9GB movies down to 4.38GB's with menu's, chapters, everything! it basically does dvd2avi,chapter X, tmpgENC, ETC.... all in one. i'm trying the trail version and will be recieving the full in mail a few days, i'll let you know how it works!!
