  1. After using DVD2ONE what will my output files look like? Am I supposed to have several files? VOBs and IFOs? Or will I have one file to burn as I would after encoding for a VCD? I am not sure about the burning process. I don't see a guide that says exactly how to burn the file(s). They all say "burn with your burning software." I have Nero, Gear PRO, and RecordNow. Which one do I use and exactly how do I use it? Can someone help out this newbie?

    Thanks

Yes you will have several files with the total of all the files being about 4.36GB in size. I suggest you use RecordNow for the burning and be sure to set the program in options to finalize or close the DVD. Just put all of the DVD2one files into a VIDEO_TS folder and burn the folder and it's contents.

Right, burn as data disc. Make 2 directories, put all the *.vob file in video directory.

Easiest way is to open nero, close the wizard, choose the dvd video template and then click New.

Click on the video_ts folder on the left hand side of the screen, then on the right hand side of the screen drag all the files that dvd2one has created over to the left hand side and push the write icon.

    Hope this helps.

  7. i thought the dvd-rom template is preferred over dvd-video template due to the udf version being more compatible with older players

The dvd video template is the only thing that will play on my panasonic lv50. It will also work on a ps2 and also various other brands of standalone, even my parents which does not play cdr discs.

I am using the latest version of Nero.

  9. if your using a -R burner I would use recordnow, I prefer the Recordnow DX 4.6, if using +R use either Recordnow or NERO, I use NERO 5.5.917 in the Data mode, more compatibilty with playbakc in DVD players in that mode.
    case i point

Brothers Sony 500UL will only work with Recordnow

My HP 200i, anything i use works, recordnow or NERO
