There is a very serious performance issue on my PC. My PC is an AMD K6-II 500 Mhz, and i think that's more than enough for playback the Divx movies, or i am wrong???
Back in the time of Divx 3 and 4, the movies ran smoothly. The problem began at Divx 5.02 and better. It just slows down. Almost every movie at a high resollution is seriously slow. 5.03 doesn't even work. I installed Nimo and it didn't work either. XVID runs slow too.
So what it is:
A. Format that crappy C: Drive
B. Download a Magic Program that fixes this thing
C. Buy a better system.
Isn't 500 Mhz enough???!!!

c.
a format wounldn't hurt if you haven't done it in a log time.
uninstall all the codecs and just try the divx 5.02 and see if that helps.
500mhz is the recommended minimum requirements.
