  1. I have recently purchased an Archos Multimedia Jukebox 20 player. I would like to know if anyone knows of a guide or program to properly convert mpeg to avi with mp3 sound (required by Archos Player)

I have no problem converting DVDs, but I would like to convert music video clips, which usually come in mpeg1.

The audio of the conversions I've made so far to avi are not recognized by the MPEG4 translator.

    Thanks!

VirtualDub will do it (see TOOLS on the left), as will any Divx/Xvid encoder. Check the Guides section for details.

Also keep in mind that www.archos.com has an mpeg4 translator for free to download... i use vdub but others might find it useful
