can anyone help me. i have a problem when i have encoded xvid road to perdition the playback is fine on my pc, but when i burn it using nero and play it in my standalone dvd (acoustic solutions dvd551) player it keeps jerking and audio goes out of sync. if i rewind it a bit it goes fine for a while and then same happens again. its driving me mad thanx 4 any help.

Are you sure you encoded the vid to a 'propper' VCD MPeG-1?

Try extracting the audio as a wave file and using that for your audio source. There are instructions on this site for how to do this. Then try using the NTSC template (not the film one). See if that works. 8)
