VHS to VCD.
Capturing with ATI AIW7500 as VCD.
Editing with Pinnacle Studio 8.
Preview mode in Studio looks great...no problems.
I burn directly to CD and, during playback on my
standalone DVD player, there are many instances of audio dropout,
ranging from about one half second to two seconds.
Total time of disk is about one hour.
I captured about 25 minutes previously to test the setup and the outcome
of a burn and it worked great.....no audio problems, but with the completed disk, I have dropouts about every five minutes or so.
Where do I start looking to try to correct this problem?
I have tried two different types of media to burn with.
btw: I'm burning to CR-RW, as this is the only format my standalone
will let me play.
