  1. I am converting my captured avi to cvd. When I try encode, TMPGEnc just closes without any error messeges. It doesn't do this for every captured file, just certain random ones. This is why I believe that this is a software issue. Anybody can help? I already checked my hd, it has enough space.

Has it always done this, or is it recently? If it is recent, suggest you remove then reinstall it.

  3. Take a look at the Options Menu>Environment Settings.

The VFAPI Plug-in tab shows priority of each plug-in - right click the AVI2(OpenDML) plug-in and increase it's priority by one (maybe two if one doesn't work).

    Then try the encode again.

    Martin.

  4. This always happens to me if I convert frame rates without converting frame rates (i.e. the Do No Frame Rate Conversion option is on), and have audio. I always do it now without the audio, and remux the audio later as it needs fixing in a different program anyway.
