Not sure where to post this question...
I'm editing some files with Winproducer (I know I can use other editing software but this works best for my particular application - long explanation) when I save the MPEG files I can view them fine but I can't load them into Virtualdub or TMPGEnc. I get the errors :
"MPEG Import Filter: pack synchronization error" from virtual dub
"filename can not open, or unsupported"" from TMPGEnc
Anyone know how I can either fix these MPEG files or fix Winproducer (v2 I believe). I have DivxFix which fixes DivX .avi files real well, something like this but for MPEG's would be great. Thanks.

Do all MPG files do that? Cuz i think it's a version and filter problem you got there. Do you have an MPEG2 codec installed? try installing one, and then try importing again.
