Very stupid question: Getting WAV audio track with DVD2AVI

Sorry guys, but it's been so long since I've needed to use this feature that now I have no idea how to do it now . TMPEG complains with straight AC3 somewhere down the conversion process. The guides mention how to do this with the older version but say nothing about the latest version which is what I have. I know the audio menu option formats give Dolbe Digital, MPEG Audio and Linear PCM. I've chosen Linear PCM as the format but it gives me no audio file output. Can anyone steer me towards the right settings, I''m using 1.76

If I understand you right you are trying to get a wav file from dvd2avi.

The setting:
In the Audio menu > Dolby Digital > Decode

Hope that is what you are after.

do u have auto select on i had same problem but when i turned auto select on i got the ac3 file

I have Dolby Digital selected. For some reason I either got AC3 or nothing with the other options.
