I am having trouble with sound. When i play the movie i cannot here it that well. I dont know if this has to do with the ripping or the converting or even if this is in the rong place but anyway could someone help me? I am leaving on a trip tomorrow morning and was gonna let the dvd conver why i was gone. So i need to do the dvd to avi step tonight. SO if anyone might know what is the wrong with the sound plz leave a posting. Thanks. Tim

Are you trying to convert a DVD to VCD?
If so, then from my experience, the DVD sound volume is "naturally" low. Don't know why though.
But if you use TMPGEnc to encode your VCD then go to SETTINGS, ADVANCED, check and double click AUDIO EFFECT. Then change your volume there...
Hope than helps.
I usually use 300% at least.
