  1. I just installed and used for the first time. On the Video track selection page there is a Tab labeled "Preview." When I access the tab, there does not seem to be any functionality. I searched all the Manual and help files, but there does not seem to be any instrctions on how to use Preview. Can anyone help??????

  2. You must have mpeg-2 decoder installed to utilize preview. I suggest PowerDVD or WinDVD both DVD software players.

  6. Mrbass,

Based on the previous 2/reply's (Power and Win DVD already installed), any other suggestions that might allow Preview to work???

Really appreciate your contribution to this thread.

  7. not really just be sure you have the latest update for powerdvd installed. Oh yeah one more thing...be sure you don't have some other app (like in your systray) that is allocating the audio. Seems like Instant Copy wants exclusive access to the audio.

I have powerdvd and preview didn't work on Iron Monkey (ripped). Maybe this is a disk-specific issue? Or does it work on disks but not rips?

  10. You may need to lower your screen resolution to get it to preview. I had to drop down to 1024x768 to get the preview to work. In my case it was an issue with my Matrox G550 video card. Anyway, give it a try. I was also having problems with IfoEdit preview not working and changing the screen resolution fixed both problems for me.

  11. A couple of thigs I have noticed on the preview. 1. the ones that will not preview most of the time are the extra still pics on the dvd. 2 doesn't always work if you are writing drictly to dvd. but does if writing to the hard drive as a disk image. Now they just need to put a little slide bar so you can ff thru the preview..

Yeah, my method was to reduce the quality on everything but the main film to as low as possible to max the quality on the main title, so I didn't really care. If there was one particular extra I wanted to preserve quality on, I guess the preview would be nice in order to figure out which one it was.
