  1. I have an avi that has a timer counting down in the top right corner. Is there any way to remove it entirely, or a least block it out. Anything would be better than watching hundreths of a second tick by.

    You can use Virtual Dub and Logo filter and add a black box as a logo over the timer, or use the Logaway filter and blur it out.

    I like Logoaway, it works quite well. You can do a google search for it, d/l and install it into the Vdub filters folder. I use the x-y which covers up by "smudging" the surrounding video. Use the preview display with solid fill to fine tune then click x-y when done.
