I want it to be 352x288 or any other suitable Pal VCD format.Ive tryed it with TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 and when burnt on to disc the playback is really slow any reason why?.Im not to sure what all the settings are with TMPGEnc to make it run at the right speed.

    It seems you have a high-resolution, high-quality video-stream.
Encoding to VCD (you loose lot of quality, but cause your vid is hq it's still acceptable - svcd would be a better choice though) always takes a lot of time.

    For instance :
My video are in DV (3.5MB/sec). Encoding an entire movie of about 45minutes takes about 3h50 (at an AMD 1.2Ghz) and about 7h40 when encoding in svcd-vbr.

I gues you start encoding when you're going asleep, or go to school/work, so the encoding can take its time.
Playing a s/vcd shouldn't go that slow (unless your pc is too slow).

The reason why playback is so slow is because of the bitrate it's encoded at. That's way too high of a bitrate and most players will choke and slow down on it. Try lowering it to 4500kbps and your player might be able to handle it.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P
