Hi!
I have received a couple of burned DVD's which I can't decrypt and not even read in my PC. DVD Decrypter says #UDF Parsion failed" and Window says it's an unknown format.
I have also tried with PowerDVD and WinDVD. Nope! Unknown format for Windows.
I have XP Pro with SP1.
I think that the discs are recorded on a stand alone DVD recorder.
I can play these discs without any problem in my stand alone DVD player.
Any thoughts?
Regards
/Thomas

From your computer details -- it says Compaq DVD116...
Is that the Pioneer 116?
If I remember right -- only the 106 can read anything... I was looking at the specs of the Pioneer DVD-ROM drives and only the 106 says it can read this and that, while the others don't say a thing... So my "guess" is that your DVD-ROM can't read DVD Recordables... Then again I could be wrong...
I will try another computer with a different DVD-ROM if I were ya...
