Apex making TVs?! I saw one at Walmart a few days ago and said "no way!" A 27" TV for $189. I wonder if it's as light as my DVD player?

  10. 1 - 32" RCA in the familyroom and 2 -19" in the bedrooms. I'm planning on buying a 50" or 56" DLP HDTV but will wait for the new Texas Instrument HD 2+ chip to ship sometime this summer. This new chip will have a contrast ratio of 2500:1 and also have a new 7 segment color wheel. The PQ should be a lot better than todays DLP models. Also there are going to be more HDTV manufactures entering the DPL tecnology market, so the prices will be more competitive hopefully.

I'm a proud onwner of Sylvania - 13" and it sits side by side w/ my pc and
    happy with the arrangement.

I hope to get a flat-screen, widescreen some day, though I'm not looking
for anything too big.. maybe 32" or so, but that all

1x 27 inch Sony (regular Trinitron)
    1x 25 inch multisystem Sony
    1x 14 inch multisystem Sony

I'm a Sony fan. Especially when it comes to CRT technology. Soon: 60 inch LCD projection (Sony of course).

  22. 43" Widescreen Hitachi. It's a projection type.

Once went over a family friends house back in the early 80's. He had a set in the bathroom. I think it was 16" recessed in the wall.
Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.

  23. 55" Toshiba HDTV

9ft. Diagonal 16:9 screen with X1 DLP projector.

Soon I plan to run my CRT projector at 12ft diagonal. The X1 will be used for gaming while the CRT will be used for DVDs/HDTV.

My poor HDTV rarely gets used anymore, because these darn projectors are too much fun.

Also, I have experimented with my CRT HDTV set by taking of the screen and refocusing and performing a major reconvergence (takes forever though. I did this before I got my CRT front projector) and I had it fill my entire wall. Only about 60-70% of the image could fit. If My wall was big enough the image would've literally been theater size. It would've been around 30ft. diagonal (I was able to get such a large size due to the extremely short throw lenses on my rear projection HDTV). So, that was fun and very interesting. The reason for doing this actually was to make me decide if I wanted to upgrade my DLP to a good CRT front projector. After this test I got a CRT projector, but decided to keep my X1.
