Yes they work. I have a lot of +800 MB movies, that I burned on these cds. The only problem is that if you'll be probably the only person who will be able to watch these movies. Many cd-rom are not able to read these cds. But before buying it, check if you cdr is able to over-burn cds !

  3. I've used about 20 99minute cdr's with a LG 808b cd-rw (crap cd-writer but it does 99minute cdr's real well). However the downside is that only my diamond data 24x cd rom drive and my dreamcast can read them back. (My Pioneer 106s DVD Rom, Sony CRX-140e CD-RW and LG808B CD-RW can't read them).

The main reason i use them is because every divx i rip is generally 820MB. (the extra 120meg makes a nice difference in video quality).

As for burning to 99minute cdr's I would recomend using cdr-win (seems to do a good job). Also did a max capacity test in fuerrio and they came up with a capacity of 100minutes 8sec

I allways try to burn all movies on just one cd. And all of them have around 700 MB. But for some xtra nice pieces like Pulp Fiction, I bought a 99min cd and burned all 870 Mb. My no-name cd-rom is able to read it, my crap CD-RW LG CED-8080b can also read it and that is important.

LG 8080b is a crap, but it worx. I burned over 700 cds with it, and it's still runing. And after I upgraded firmware (1.01 to 1.06 and than to 1.0, I have no destroyed CDs. And I paid $99 for it. It was a nice deal.

    Dam,

    You guys are really lucky

My friend ordered some of those 99 minutes cd 's from Yesbuy
some 2 months ago and they never arrived.

They never responded to any of his e-mails that he sent to see what was happing, they never even sent him a e-mail to confirm the order.

Now what's the point of a company thats says it ships overseas when they don't.

And he ordered by Credit Card.

Ok sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to come all the way From the US to the UK, but 2 months and still nothing.

All we've got here in the UK are those Mirror Max 90minutes and they only go out to 92.02 minutes using a LG 8080B.

No bloody use when you have movies that are over 92 minutes.

There are no suppliers of 99minutes cd here in the UK that i could find, and believe me i've tried.

You know the UK sucks when you want anything special like that.

You can put on every 90 minutes CD 800MB - that means that you can burn almost every DivX on it.

    Try this link:
    http://www.disc4you.com/products/media/standard.html

I used their 99 min CDs. I use 90min/800MB from Platinum.
